Asar held out a hand to quieten the fae, and turned to Ellandor, giving him a look of disapproval.
“As disgusting as it sounds, Ellandor has a point. At least you have each other. As for the rest of us, we are left with no choice but to take our pleasure with the opposite sex if we want to be satisfied,” Claude said.
“Speak for yourself,” Ralsay murmured.
“Don’t tell me the werewolf is still a virgin?” Ellandor smirked.
“Shut up,” Ralsay replied, glaring at the elf.
“Not everyone is as accepting of taking their pleasure from the opposite sex,” Tennan said.
“Oh, please, spare us with your comments shape-shifter. And why are you even here? If you wanted sex with a man, wouldn’t you take on a female form?”
“Enough, Ellandor, we’re not here to make others feel bad for what they think or feel,” Asar cut in.
Ellandor crossed his arms over his chest and clamped his mouth shut.
“He has a point though. Why are you here?” Ryrth asked the shape-shifter.
Tennan looked around at everyone watching him and shifted in his chair, uncomfortable with the attention. He let out a sigh and murmured, “I might as well go first then. It’s too easy.”
Everyone stared at him, and Ryrth asked, “Too easy.”
“Yes. It’s too easy to take on a female form and feel that type of pleasure, and it’s too easy taking on a male form to pleasure a woman. I want-I want to be dominated, I want to struggle and fight and be forced to submit. I want to feel pain and pleasure, and I want to be confined and suppressed. I don’t want easy.”
“Hell,” Ralsay murmured, and crossed his legs.
Even Asar was having trouble controlling his libido. “That’s great Tennan,” he said. “These are the kind of things we need to hear.”
Everyone stared at Asar like he had lost his mind, but he needed to keep the flow of conversation going before there was an orgy in the making. “Anyone else have anything they’d like to discuss?”
Claude looked at the fae, and asked, “If you can change your appearance to look like the elves, why would you not consider...?”
Claude never finished what he was saying before Ellandor flew out of his seat and yelled at them all.
“There is no way in hell I would ever consider doing anything with those freaks, and if they dare come anywhere near me, I swear I’ll kill them!”
The fae, petrified by the elf’s outburst, clambered across the spare seat towards Ralsay. With the combined shock of having the two fae trying to bury themselves under his arms and the sight of the angry elf in front of him; Ralsay couldn’t help but instinctively want to protect the fae.
Asar closed his eyes, and in a calm voice he said, “All right now, settle down. Please, Ellandor, sit down.”
The elf slowly sank back into the seat; however, he turned his chair on the demon, refusing to look at any of them.
When Ralsay tried to get the fae to return to their seat, they flatly refused. Ralsay had little choice but to leave them where they were, one tucked under each arm. Ralsay rolled his eyes and shook his head. It couldn’t be helped, he was the biggest one there.
“Sorry,” Claude said.
“Because they can look like us doesn’t mean I would ever consider a relationship with one of them.” Ellandor told them, still refusing turn back to face the group. “I’ll have you know there have been others, before any of you, that have been like us. But they don’t live as long and I’m tired of watching my lovers die.”
“So you’ve had relationships in the past?” Ryrth asked.
“Of course. I’ve not been involved in the last few hundred years because it’s too annoying.”
Asar knew it was anything but annoying, more like painful to watch someone you love grow old and die. It was true all creatures had long lives, but none as long as the elves and vampires.
“What about you, Claude, you would have similar issues too?” Asar asked.
Claude shrugged his shoulders. “I am the only one of my kind like this. Although some have accommodated me in the past, I have never known love.”
“Would the fear of causing death when you fall into a lust-fuelled frenzy restrict who you can be with?” Ralsay asked. Of course the werewolf would state the obvious.
Claude smiled and replied, “Yes, this is always a reason for concern. It is true we cannot contain ourselves when we are in a lustful state. Many a reason vampires only mate with other vampires.”
“So you could kill a lover unwillingly?” Tennan asked.
“Yes, there are those who could not survive an attack from us during sexual pleasures.”
“Except for us,” Ellandor replied, still looking away from them.
The room remained quiet for a moment, and then Ellandor turned, knowing they were all waiting for him to elaborate. “We are not immune to vampires, but they cannot kill us, they can only render us immobile for a short time before our bodies heal.”
“We didn’t know this,” Taro spoke from under Ralsay’s arm.
“We don’t like being left vulnerable, so we stay away from the vampires.”
The room grew quiet again before Ryrth, now sitting forward in his chair, staring intently at the shape-shifter, asked him, “You can take any form you want?”
“Yes, any form I want.”
“Including a dragon?”
“Yes.”
“What colour would you be?” Ryrth asked.
“Any colour I want to be. Any size. Anything you want.”
Asar watched the conversation between the two, and he could sense the sudden fascination the dragon had with the shape-shifter.
“Show me?” Ryrth asked.
Tennan glanced around the room before replying, “It would be useless showing you here. We would need to be out in the open.”
Ryrth nodded, and standing, said, “Show me now.”
Asar wasn’t sure he wanted their session to be moving outdoors so soon after starting. However, before he could voice this, Tennan looked at Ryrth, and nodding, they both vanished from the room.
“Well, can’t imagine what those two are going to be up to,” Ellandor sneered.
“Jealous?” Ralsay replied, and the fae snickered quietly.
Ellandor stood while Ralsay went on the defensive as he too stood. Both fae fell on the floor in front of Ralsay and scrambled behind him.
Asar leapt to his feet also, getting ready to step in and stop the confrontation, when Claude rushed forward. Taken by surprise, Ellandor was unprepared as the vampire grabbed him around the waist, and they vanished.
Asar sighed, and turned to the surprised werewolf and the two frightened fae, both of whom were gripping Ralsay’s legs. Asar let out a laugh and said, “Well, looks like today’s meeting is over.”
Ralsay gazed around the room, then shrugged. As he turned, he glanced down at the two fae, who refused to let go of his legs. Ralsay bent over and lifted the brothers by their shirts, standing them on their feet next to him. Ralsay stared down at them and let out a sigh. Then, shaking his head, he turned and walked out the room. Both Hiro and Taro glanced at each other, and then quickly followed the werewolf, murmuring to themselves.
Asar now stood in the quiet room, congratulating himself on getting through the meeting without so much as a drop of blood spilt; even if it had lasted only ten minutes. He didn’t care what happened now; it was all up to them. As he packed away the chairs, Constantine appeared and floated towards him.
“That went well. It was over faster than I thought,” Constantine said as he came to rest before Asar.
“You think so? So you were watching from afar?”
Constantine smiled sweetly and whispered, “I had to make sure nothing bad happened to you.”
Asar moved closer, and keeping his own voice low, he replied, “Were you worried about me, Constantine? I didn’t know you cared.”
The angel blushed, and Asar took advantage of the nearness of the man to gently place a kiss upon his supple lips. Asar moved back a fraction to stare at the angel’s face. Constantine looked up to meet his gaze before leaning in and capturing Asar’s lips in return.
Asar let the angel take control, but only long enough for him to gain confidence before Asar grabbed him around his waist and deepened their kiss. Constantine pushed at Asar’s chest, but his effort grew weaker as Asar ran his hands across Constantine’s back, gently coaxing the angel to submit to him. It did not take long before the angel wrapped his arms around the demon’s neck.
When Asar slowly pulled away from Constantine, he looked into the eyes of his angel and murmured, “Do you think the gods planned this right from the start?”
Constantine smiled beautifully and replied, “Not the gods. They are too busy to be bothered with the likes of us.”
“Ah, a troublesome angel with too much time on his hands then?”
“No, not troublesome.”
Asar smiled down at Constantine. “Then I will do something about you having too much time on your hands.”
“Yes, please,” Constantine purred as he lean in to Asar, pressing their bodies together.
Asar pulled the angel tighter against him and in the blink of an eye both were gone from the room.
