Next morning Takuma, Rima, Senri, Hanabusa, Ruka and Akatsuki were discussing what to do with you, and of course, the opinions were very split. "It's not like there's much other than letting her join the night class we can do, is there?" Takuma asked, being kind of excited about the whole idea of having you around more frequently. "Yes there is, let's just send her back to day class and give her some blood tablets, that'd be the least pain in the ass" Akatsuki proposed, not really up for the all the consequences that a day class student changing to the night class would make. "Yes, besides there are only aristocrats and above in the night class, which I'd have to assume she isn't" Ruka said. "I'd have to agree with Takuma. She has no idea how to control any of her powers or what to do as a vampire, so chances are that she'd cause even more problems anywhere BUT in the night class" Senri argued, actually kind of interested in you, wondering what the story between you and Takuma was.
Then Kaname came into the room, making everyone shut up. "She's joining the night class. I've already made arrangements with the headmaster and the day class students will be informed tomorrow" he said plainly before once again leaving the room, leaving the matter at hand finished and everyone there completely silent. Seirin was later sent to gather your belongings and put them in a vacant room.
Around 4pm that day you wake up, quickly noticing that the room you were currently in was unknown to you. Looking to your right you see a red haired male from the night class, whose name you believed to be Senri, sleeping. Continuing to look around you saw Takuma sleeping in a chair at a desk, making you assume that you were in his bed. You then notice a glass of water along with some pills and a note standing on the bedside table. You cautiously pick up the note, not wanting to spill the water. '(f/n), please take the tablets once you wake up. //Takuma' it said. You obediently did as it said as you swallowed the pills together with the water.
They gave off an odd metallic taste, but as soon as you'd swallowed them your head started clearing up. Not really knowing where you were or what to do next you decided to wake Takuma. As you kneel down next to his chair you start gently shaking his shoulder and softly calling out his name, not wanting to disturb the other sleeping male in the room. Much to your relief he wakes up rather quickly. As he sees you the first thing he does is to hug you tightly.
Once he let go of you his hands were still on your shoulders as he now looked you straight in the eye. "Did you take the tablets?" he asks. You simply nod, a bit taken aback by his serious tone. "Those were blood tablets, (f/n). You'll have to take them regularly from now on" he starts explaining, only confusing you further. "You're a vampire, and therefore you're joining the night class. I know that might be hard to believe, but all the students in the night class are" he explains. You almost get a headache from information overload. 'Vampire? He's got to be joking, right? I mean vampires don't even exist!' you think to yourself, before the previous night's' events come back to you. "I'm sorry" you say in a low tone while looking down at the floor.
He looked quite shocked before realizing what exactly you were talking about. When he does realize he simply puts his hand on your head, patting it. "It's okay, you haven't done anything wrong" he reassures you with a kind smile before getting up. "Come on, let me show you to your new room" he said as he opened the door for you.
"Here you are" he said, opening the door to a room that surprisingly enough only seemed to contain one bed. "Am I getting my own room?" you ask confusedly, being used to sharing one with three other people. "All the female students in the night class already have a roommate, I hope you don't mind" he explained calmly, as you inspected the room. "No, not at all. I've always liked having time for myself anyways" you say, turning around to him with a bright smile.
"Good, oh, and take these" he said, fishing out a small box. "Blood tablets?" you ask curiously, accepting the box. "Yup. You get tonight off, by the way, so you should probably try to get some rest" he said with a sweet smile, before walking out of the door. "See ya" you reply, as you go to close it behind him.
As soon as the door was shut, you immediately went over to the bed, and in a falling motion you let your back hit the soft mattress. 'This feels so surreal. I mean, seriously, a vampire?' you say, before taking the box and holding it up over your face. 'But it doesn't feel like a dream, either. This is for real.' Your thoughts were interrupted by the sound of knocking coming from the door. Assuming that it was simply Takuma who had forgotten to tell you something, you casually went to open the door.
To your surprise, behind the door stood a girl with blue eyes and red hair tied back in high pigtails. "Sorry to disturb, but Lord Kaname wants to see you. I'll show you there" she said, rather monotonically. 'Did she just call him "Lord"? What, is he like royalty or something?' you thought, but nonetheless, you gave her a nod and decided to follow her to this Kaname-guy.
You followed the girl down a corridor, heading toward a set of stairs. "I'm Rima Toya, by the way. But you can just go ahead and call me Rima" she said, turning her head to you as you walked. "Oh, nice to meet you, Rima. I'm (f/n) (l/n), but feel free to use my first name" you said with a polite smile, kind of enjoying her cool attitude. As you continued following her, you eventually reached a room that appeared to be some kind of lounge, with six people sitting there.
Apart from you and Rima, there were five males and one female. The girl had long light brown hair with matching eyes, looking rather annoyed with this whole situation. One of the males were Takuma, who seemed calm as usual. Next to the girl sat a guy with strawberry blonde hair and orange eyes. The description actually fit perfectly onto that guy Shoko always kept talking about, Akatsuki I think... Then, next to him sat a blonde guy with clear blue eyes smiling a bright smile, that somehow seemed a little fake to you. Next to Takuma sat the red haired male that seemed to have been sharing a room with Takuma, looking rather bored. Then, last but not least, in the single armchair in the room, sat a male with dark brown hair and brown-red eyes. The same guy that had given you that weird glance at saint chocolates day.
"Thank you for joining us so quickly, (f/n). Please take a seat" the brown haired guy then said, snapping you out of your trance. Not wanting to be an inconvenience to the other people in the room, you quickly make your way over to Takuma, sitting down next to him. Rima quickly followed, sitting down at the other end of that same couch, next to the red haired guy.
"Now then, as of today you're officially joining the night class. I should probably also inform you that you will not be attending class tonight, seeing as the day class students have yet to be informed of this transfer" he began explaining what Takuma had already told you earlier that afternoon. "But, seeing as you've most likely been informed of that already, that wasn't why I asked you to came down here today. I'm assuming that you're aware of the fact that you are a vampire" he then continued, looking straight at you. Not really having much to say at this point, you simply nodded your head once slowly, indicating for him to go on.
"Good, then we can proceed to the topic at hand. Everyone in the night class is a vampire, but there is one profound difference between you and the rest of us. Unlike us, your parents were humans, which in this day of age is unheard of. This in turn makes you the progenitor of a new vampire family, making your abilities and level of strength a complete mystery" he then said, which not only left you in shock, but also the rest of the vampires in the room as well. "Are you saying she might actually be a pureblood, Lord Kaname?!" the blonde boy blurted out, only confusing you further. 'Pureblood? What the hell is that supposed to mean!?'
"As I said, we have no clue about her ability level. For all we know she could be stronger than me, but probability suggests that aside from heritage, she's no different than the average vampire" he explained calmly as ever. 'If anyone could just take their time and explain to me exactly what they're talking about, that'd be great' you thought to yourself as you stared at the brown haired male, most likely looking like a lost kid. "Now then (f/n), you should probably be made aware of what exactly a pureblood vampire is, since it's an important part to know about our society" he then said, finally seeming like he would shed some light on the situation.
"Because we vampires have been around for quite some time, most vampire lineages have at some point mixed with humans. But, a few vampire families doesn't have a single human among their ancestors. The vampires of these families are called purebloods, and they're extremely powerful beings. Due to this, purebloods are essentially the rulers of the vampire society, even though an organisation known as the senate are the ones in charge on paper. In other words, the less human blood you have flowing through your veins, the higher your standings" he explained calmly, and you couldn't really look at him with anything but disbelief. I mean, an entire society next to that of the humans' that can only be described as a hereditary hierarchy.
"Getting back to the topic of you, or more specifically your parents, they were actually killed by a pureblood. This was however kept secret for everyone except the highest standing vampires in our society, that means the other purebloods and a few high standing aristocrats. This is why only we are here at the moment, the people in this room are the only students in the night class who are aware of this" he explained, making your jaw drop even more, before realizing what he said implied. "So, you're saying everyone in here is from a family of high standing aristocrats?" you ask, making sure you hadn't gotten things wrong.
"Almost. Apart from me, everyone in here is from a high standing aristocratic family. I, on the other hand, am a pureblood of the Kuran lineage" he explained, as if it wasn't even remotely a big deal. 'Wait, didn't this guy say that purebloods were basically fricking royalty a couple of minutes ago?!? Although, that would explain why Rima called him "Lord" earlier...' you thought to yourself as your gaze started finding its' way toward the floor.
"That is all that I had to tell you today. If you don't have any questions, I shall take my leave" he said, standing up from his armchair, still expressionless. "Thank you, Kaname" you say, showing a weak smile. To your surprise, the corners of his mouth seemed to turn upwards ever so slightly at that comment, and a small chuckle could be heard before he left the room. Why exactly he had laughed at that was a mystery to you, that is until he was out of sight.
"Who the hell do you think you are?!?" the brown haired girl yelled at you. "That's "Lord Kaname" to you!!" the blonde guy continued, making you shrink back in your seat, while both the red haired guy, the strawberry blonde guy and Rima all started laughing ever so slightly at your expense. Takuma on the other hand only sent you a sympathetic look. "I'm sorry, it won't happen again! Just please stop yelling at me" you apologized, face turning red at your mistake. This seemed to calm the two somewhat, as they sat down again and only glared at you ever so slightly.
"Alright, how about we do introductions?" Takuma then asked, breaking the tension with another one of those handsome smiles. "(f/n), why don't you start?" he then said, smiling directly at you. "O-Oh, uhm, my name is (f/n) (l/n), but I would prefer it if you all just called me (f/n)" you said shyly, not really being able to take your eyes of the two that were obviously still angry with you. Takuma then looked over at the red haired male next to him, motioning him to go next.
"Senri Shiki. I don't have a problem with you calling me Senri" he said, observing you closely. Takuma then went over to looking at Rima, as if telling her to introduce herself. "I already introduced myself on the way here" she stated coolly. Seeing as you seemed to be going in the order of how you were all sitting, you looked over at the blonde, who you assumed to be next. "I'm Hanabusa Aido, but you might know me better by the name "Idol". I guess you can use my first name, if you'd prefer that, though" he said, seeming to have changed mood significantly. Despite that, you weren't really able to tell if he actually tried to be friendly or if it was just an act. Shrugging that off, you decided to focus your attention on the strawberry blonde guy, who was next in line.
"Akatsuki Kain, just Akatsuki works perfectly fine with me" he said, indicating that you were spot on earlier. You then turned your attention to the last one. That girl, who still seemed a bit angry. "Ruka Souen, I guess first name basis will have to do, since that seems to be what we're all going for here" she said, not even looking at you as she did. You shrink back a bit in your seat at her rude demeanor. She then suddenly stood from her seat, soon followed by Hanabusa and Akatsuki, as they all left the room, leaving you, Rima, Senri and Takuma.
"Don't worry about Ruka, she'll warm up to you soon enough" Takuma then said sweetly, putting his hand on your head reassuringly. In response, you simply give him a warm smile. "Do the lovebirds want some time alone?" Senri then asked with a smirk, making your face heat up drastically. "We're not dating, Senri" Takuma said, he as well having a tiny blush dusting his cheeks. "Let's leave that for now. (f/n), you're quite the special case, aren't you? How come someone like that ever got to know this weirdo?" Rima then asked, nodding her head toward Takuma.
"Huh? Oh, well I was up reading by the school building when he showed up. He asked if he could join me, and I didn't see any reason why not. We've met up there and talked a bit since then" you explained calmly, wondering how they didn't know that by now. "Is that so? Takuma, I believe you forgot to mention that when you told us about her" Senri then said, and looking at him and Rima you could see that the both were smirking madly. This made you realize that meeting up in secret at night, probably sounded a bit different than it actually was, and as a result the both of you started blushing once again.
As time passed, they kept interrogating the two of you, and you two were almost constantly blushing as a result. But, despite all that, you grew quite close to Rima and Senri, and it didn't take a genius to realize that the four of you were probably going to be spending a lot of time together in the future.
