Three hours... I spent three damn hours in the hot kitchen and it was such a disaster. My macarons were a failure (I mean they tasted pretty good but that's about it).

So here's the whole disaster in more detail:
- I forgot to buy piping bags even though I specifically went to the store to buy supplies (we didn't have ANY bags in our house that I could've used instead)
- I had to craft not one but TWO (2) piping bags from wax paper, and yes, I had to staple them because tape wouldn't stick (duh, it's wax paper).
- The cookies were flat and sticky (didn't really bother me but still!).
- The filling was unusable because it remained liquid... That pissed me off the most. I had grated a freaking lemon, nearly losing a finger, to make it fancy and then I couldn't even use the stuff.
- By the end of the night I just wanted to call quits and cry.

Yeeeeah, I think I'm gonna stick to store bought mudcakes for a while ^-^"

EDIT: fixed one little thing and also forgot to mention that, as you can see, I still don't have the energy to go right back to full colored comic strips (yet) so I hope you don't mind this type of "coloring".
