Feel free to ignore this, nothing art related ahead, but I'm just feeling a bit emotional and wanted to write something. Helps me process my feelings.
So, this is Milo. He would've turned nine yesterday but unfortunately he had to be put to sleep three years ago because he got so sick. I wouldn't have remembered his birthday unless my mom wouldn't have told me... I don't want him to be forgotten (maybe that's also why I'm writing this publicly).
I can't stop thinking about how by now he would probably be a bit gray around the face... He really would've deserved to live longer and be happier but sometimes life just isn't fair. I try to feel better by telling myself that he's in a better place now with no pain, probably running around with our first dog Gemma.

Some years ago my sister brought a teddy hamster home to my parents, it was the animal of her roommate. Sadly her roommate couldn't take him back home - she left for Russia - and so my sis' took care of him, later my parents.
He was really cute, always up for adventure... and every morning we entered the room he acted like an opossum, meaning that he would freeze for how long ever and pretend he is dead. He even looked like an opossum: white fur, black ears and eyes... only cuter.
Like two years ago, I think, we had to put him to sleep. He got bowel cancer, which wasn't untypical for his age.
He got even older then normal teddy hamsters.
Anyway, he was a funny and nice fella and even if he got us awke over the night - 'cause night activity - we will miss him.

It depends - the biting - how you hold them or if they are ill.
In the end Teddy (yes, his name was teddy xD) bite my mom one or two times, because she touched his belly - what did hurt him.
Well, as kid I was scared of dogs, because one bite me when I was younger... guess that makes us even~ :P
