Papa looked unto the water, with Monna by his side. He couldn’t take her, he knew he couldn’t and he knew she wouldn’t understand. He also know that his journey may be longer than he promised - but he had to try for her. Monna begged him. Pleaded with him. Reminding him he promised to train her with the sword since no one else would. Alas, it was all for not, and he began to depart…
