I found something in the last box I unpacked that told me I would be having a very fun night. A catnip mouse.

I wanted to ignore it but it was hard too. I bought the mouse up to my nose and inhaled the sweet smell. My inner kitty was telling me that we needed that mouse badly. I almost gave in but the doorbell rang. I set the mouse on the counter and walked to the door. Answering the door the alpha was there. He held two things in his hands, Cat grass and catnip.

I took the cat grass and went to set it in the window, running my fingers through it a few times for quality insurance. I walked back out to the living area and the Alpha threw something at me. My natural reaction was the catch with my claws. Oh Boy, That was a bad idea. The catnip flew everywhere including in my mouth and nose. My inner kitty purred in delight. I chewed the catnip in my mouth & sneezed out the catnip in my nose. A shiver of delight crawled down my spine as I felt the warmth of the catnip high crawling over me. Catnip was a wonderful sedative. The alpha was relaxed on the couch looking mildly concerned. I rolled around in the dry catnip until I had basically ground it into the floor. 

"A mouse?"

I looked at my catnip mouse in his hand and felt very possessive over my toy. Leaping from the floor I landed on his lap and tipped the couch backwards. he didn't look thrilled but I was having a hell of a time now. I rolled and rubbed all over him purring. Catnip powder hung against both of our clothing. Shoving me off him he righted the couch and sat back down. he set the mouse on the floor lightly and watched me. The mouse was the last thing on my mind. I could play with the catnip covered alpha now.
