Aaaah so everyone loves a Deus Ex Machina, right?
One thing I love about Silver Age superhero comics is the way the protagonists would simply develop powers, with no explanation, when they needed it... It's just surreal. There's this story in that Superman rearranges his face's bone structure to copy some guy's face.
It's too great.
