I have never worked this hard for so long. I feel like dying.
Anyways, hello! I have overcome one of the most challenging period of my life. Working on this was both fun and painful. I have learned a lot. One of these things is to never draw so many god damn backgrounds! They are the bane of my existance! Trust me, next chapter has less of them! Unless my perfectionist side takes over and forces me to draw them... we'll see.
Since the next chapter won't be coming in a while, I was wondering if any of you my readers would be interested in some of the behind the scenes things? I was thinking about opening a Patreon account. If I could get some money while working on the next chapter, it might come sooner and you people would have content to consume while waiting said chapter. I do not know much about Patreon but it seems to have worked for many content creators. If you have tips or suggestions regarding my possible future Patreon, do tell, I can use the help! Here are some rewards I was thinking of offering:
- Information on all the characters featured in the comic from their conception to their current form. All the characters in this comic will be recycled characters from other projects so the info would include pictures how they used to be, descriptions how they were made and any bit of non-spoilering info I can share.
- Process of my work. I would be showing how I make the comic from script to final product.
- Tutorials, which would be more in depth look at my working process. Includes how I do certain things like backgrounds, trees, clouds, anatomy etc. Added bonus, you get a sneak peak to the pages I'd be currently working on!
- Additional voting. This would be the highest reward. The voting everyone participates is more about the story. In the additional votings you could affect the individual characters and their relationships or how much do we see them etc.

I vote companion! Also, please don't feel bad about turning down the backgrounds. I think it's more important that you enjoy what you do, and that you're comfortable with the amount of time everything takes. Take care until the next update.
