Did you enjoy Chapter 4 of Fallen? If you haven't had a look already go see!
I wanted to make an important announcement to you all before more chapters go up.
Due to points in the story having to be changed so that it flows more naturally etc, elements in previous chapters currently up may no longer make sense.
I am currently in the process of doing a check and amending chapters so that when the first volume goes to print, the chapters will be consistent and the plot more solid.
This also means a new chapter will be placed BEFORE the current first chapter.
This is all for the benefit of you, The Reader; so you get the best experience and more clear when reading Fallen.
Risen (by Create a Comic) is going through a similar change.
As it stands this WILL NOT effect the current uploads. Once I have amended the chapters and they are fully ready, you will be notified!

Yes It's another blog and not Chapter 4....Im very sorry.
BUT!
Something exciting happened and all my spare time has gone towards preparing for LONDON MCM!!!
Create a Comic and I were summoned last minute and asked if we wanted a table, after another dropped out.
We've had 2 weeks only to prepare everything for the big weekend!
I will ask, if you would like to support our journey there then you can always commission me, or I have a Ko-fi account now if a full blown commission would be too much! you can find all the links through my Facebook page link to the right (you may need to scroll a little).

There may be a little delay in my original upload for chapter 4.
While I have finished drawing the main bulk for Chapter 4, I still have some tidy up to do before I scan it and start screen toning.
I will get it out to you as soon as possible but we're now looking at early May. So very sorry! But time has been stretched very thin his month.
'A Day in the Life of Jane Kingswood' is a chunky chapter so please look forward to it! :)

ALIGHT (a Prequel to Fallen and Risen (by Create a Comic) has gone to print!!
Release date is 25th March at Wincon (Winchester).
Fallen Chapter 4 (A Day in the Life of Jane Kingswood) should hopefully be available next month if all goes well!

Why Black and White?
Well, there is a little colour..
Easy answer?
I dont have the skills to colour on the computer and Fallen (and Create A Comics Risen) are long projects. They would take a lot of tools to colour the entire thing traditionally.
I have far more experience in using screen tones seeing as I used them for a past project (Fey) which I do plan to upload eventually (though the art is far from the quality I can do now).
Long Answer?
As much as I would love to do the comic in colour, I chose to only use colour for Eyes, Wings and Magical items.
This is so magical elements stand out and brighten the entire page.
Colour is an important part of Shaiyahn magic, because it mirrors a Floys personality, plus their intent in the shape it will appear.
As you will notice it makes Terrah (or earth as we call it) appear more grey and dull.
This is intentional!
When you see the start if Chapter 4 (coming in the next couple of months) it will reflect the mundane, repetitive life Jane leads until she's thrust into a world if Magic, Fallen Floy and Mane.

Well dear readers-
For starters FALLEN and Create-a-comics RISEN are both hand drawn. We spend a lot of time drawing out the pages. Its a time consuming process and if you go wrong? well theres no undo button, you have to start all over again!
In saying that, we wanted to upload FULL chapters to Tapastic. We upload more regularly over on Smackjeeves already but felt it more beneficial to the format of Tapastic if the chapters were uploaded in full, not in bits.
So, dear readers; we ask for your patience. One chapter can take about 2-3 months to draw up, scan, screen tone, add text, check, amend and such. BUT it means you get a nice big, full chapter that way and not lots of bitty uploads!
