I am a college graduate with a bachelor's in English. I've been making comics since the sixth grade (on notebook paper). I write and draw but consider myself a cartoonist as I create most comics as author and artist. I am a follower of Jesus, although that often puts me at odds with popular mainstream culture. Still, I read comics and enjoy works different from my world view. I hope you can say the same as you read mine. Thank you for reading my comics!

Hey guys. It's a New Year with new possibilities. I haven't forgotten about you, just not sure about the best way to go about telling the stories I want to tell.
Finished the last page of a comic, but thinking I want to sell it. So, I may have a long term web comic, and offer "trailers" of other comics for sale. I know that's not the typical way to do it. You usually just publish until you get a following and then sell books and such. Maybe I'll change my decision.
What does this mean for you? It means that Makai Mart will continue, but I will work on other comics for sale. Time to go back to the beginning, and rework the idea.

Well, I've been pretty blocked for a while as far as making comics. Now I've produced several more issues worth of comics' scripts. I'm currently finishing Muffin and Sisters. Instead of continually making new comics, I may go back to the text interlude between updates and keep on Makai Mart, since it has the most followers. I compiled 2017's annual, but I don't think I'll have one for 2018, as I went on hiatus for a while.
I hope to be back to updating about once a week. Would like to get a buffer back up, too, as it's post by post right now.

I feel like my problem now is that I have too many stories to tell. There's G414: Fantasy's Flaw, Adam and the Arm of the Oracle, and Makai Mart. There's also a lot of story hooks with each one. I've cut a lot of them short before finishing the whole scripts. Now, I'm not sure where I want to go.
Since this isn't my day job, I may just try to refresh the buffer on Makai Mart, and then update each comic as need be. I'd also like to put my 2016-2017 Annual PDF up for sale on Kindle. We'll see. G414, or as I'm renaming it Re Gaia: Fantasy's Flaw updates for a few more weeks, so that should give me enough time.
In other news, I got a new device on which to make comics. So I'm going to try to learn with that one, but I may make comics with the old systems for a while, maybe a long while. Sorry for the tl;dr.

Okay. Not getting a lot of hits here on the comic. I also want to try to do page comics, specifically for one based on a dream I had that I thought would make a great story. So, not sure if I should just do all of it and then post a page a week? Or maybe do both. I have had extra time and energy to work on the other comic (which I hope to turn into a pdf).
