So. Here's the reason for the recent hiccup in the update schedule;
As I'm sure most of you have heard, the "Right of First Refusal" clause in the tapas ToS was brought to light last week. At the time of the news, I was getting ready to leave for Stockholm and only had the time to push ahead the update to give me some time to think on what to do. I set it to Wednesday, or so I thought. Apparently it was Tuesday, hence the surprise update yesterday (with the description claiming I was still in Stockholm, which I hadn't thought to remove before).
Moving on to the future of SpectraSpell on tapas; there simply isn't one. Even though the controversial clause has been removed, the fact that they at all thought to add it in the first place concerns me. Looking into the past of tapas/tapastic as "comic panda" made my already low trust for them sink even lower. I recognize this kind of behavior from sites I've used in the past, and this very much feels like it's going to be the first try out of many at this sort of thing.
I have removed all pages of SpectraSpell and Fall (losing all of your wonderful comments in the process, which pains me greatly) and I'm currently rushing to build a tumblr based site for SpectraSpell (for now). I'm going to make a post about this when it's ready.
Tapas has been a lot of fun and all of you readers have been amazing, and it makes me really sad to leave. There's been a lot of ups (the tipping system, the active userbase) and downs (the ergonomic nightmare that is scroll-based comics) but overall it's been a positive experience. I hope I'm wrong about the site, and I hope this change won't be too troubling for the people who want to continue to read SpectraSpell, and I definitely hope you will all have a great day in spite of this.

We, the readers, understand perfectly. This latest "Right to First Refusal" has been troublesome for more than many artists. It's understandable; you all want to protect your art and we'll respect that. We hope to continue reading SpectraSpell soon whether it be on Tapas again someday or another site!
