hi everyone! big news - love and war is coming BACK this thursday 6th!!!!!!!
so as a real update, love and war is 100% finished - i'll tune up pages i finished in july last year before i upload them but otherwise, done. i wanted to avoid missed updates/more hiatuses, so i waited until it was complete before releasing more. i'm sorry for making you wait in relative silence - again - but with my breaks getting longer and longer between pages, it became clear that i couldn't keep up with my weekly update schedule. i thought it was best to just finish the whole thing first then have a stress-free ride to the finish - and we're there now, so i really hope you all enjoy this comic as much as i enjoyed drawing it!
i've read EVERY SINGLE ONE of your comments over the last year and it's just blown me away - even if i haven't responded, i see you. thank you everyone who's commented or lurked and liked. it's kept my focus working on the last 50 pages of the comic. i know there's people out there who are still reading and enjoying it, and i wanted to finish it all for you.
this year has been awful for everyone, including me, and i couldn't make creative work at the pace required for a weekly update between work and pandemic... everything... especially make a comic that i was no longer happy with. but, i've got a major mental health diagnosis over the last year that's changed my life, reconnected with my art process, and stopped looking at my old pages. and i've never stopped drawing this thing.

actually yes! if you'd believe it it's been finished since november, and i'm literally logging in to dust off the account now 😖i'm really glad you like it, and i hate making people wait for ages but rest assured - it's done and i will be uploading it! thank you again for reading and commenting, it's so heartening <3
