The first question that would most definitely come to your mind right now is
‘Why is this not free?’....
As a writer, filmmaker, I’ve always loved comic books and wanted to create them myself. The only thing that would come in my way was that I wasn’t a professional artist and hiring artists/illustrators would be a huge investment. So I kept putting it off...
Then my life took some wild turns and put me in a deep, dark and depressive place. The decision to make my first comic book brought me back to light.
I took a loan, borrowed money from friends and started working on GRNR in 2014. I hired a couple of illustrators who had never made comics art before, but were willing to learn and be a part of my efforts. It took us one and a half years to complete GRNR. I released it as only as an ebook since I couldn’t afford paperpack prints.
With your help and support, I can pay back my loans and continue creating more comics. During the past couple of years I have also been brushing up my own art skills and I am glad that I could illustrate my own webcomics 'Inspector Rishi' :)
