Rachel Kahn is an illustrator with a love of heavy metal, megafauna, and mighty-thewed barbarians.
She has her BFA in Visual Art from York University, studied in the Concept Art program at Max the Mutt College of Animation and Design, and currently illustrates and creates concept art for indie and small-press games and fiction. She has a passion for diverse characters and cultures, and loves being given a reason to do research. Kahn is also a self-published cartoonist and exhibiting fine artist.
When not in the studio, Kahn can be found continuing her studies in drawing, painting and local natural sciences. She only started playing tabletop games and reading sword and sorcery stories in her mid-20s, but has loved swords, sorcery and dry wit her whole life.
Photoshop, watercolours, brush pen and fixed width pens, watercolour paper, pencil, and a high dose of nerdiness.
