But apparently the Tap Staff actully encourages that sort of thing, seeing as they promptly featured his "new" series in both Staff Picks AND Daily Snack, so who knows: if you keep at it you might get featured too eventually...

No! Don't force yourself! We enjoy seeing you draw because it makes us happy and we want you to be happy too! Take your time, we know that your not posting not because you don't want too, but because your working hard at art school! So please take your time! We're here to support you and want you to be happy too! :)
Not updating because of real life issues is perfectly fine: beside, it's not like you owe us anything in that regard.
Instead, you should feel sorry for not notifying that sooner: i believe that's standard courtesy toward your subbers, and you probably wouldn't have lost any of them if you did.
