As I sign into Tapas to start preparing for Chapter 5, I'm greeted with the news that the site is going by the wayside next year... I'm really disappointed to hear this, I feel like things were just getting going!
Tapas has been a special place for all the artists who've carefully curated their storytelling, readership, and engagement, and for all the readers who have found inspiration, entertainment, and connection. It feels like such an abrupt end. I'm having a hard time imagining a web without Tapas.
I'm contemplating whether to resume uploading here until the plug is pulled, or to just migrate and focus efforts elsewhere.
In the meantime, I'm finalizing the Chapter 5 script, and setting up accounts on GlobalComix (https://globalcomix.com/c/what-we-do-in-the-closet) and ComicFury (https://wwdc.webcomic.ws/) for those who wanna stay tuned after Tapas goes kaput :,<
Keep you posted what the new upload location/frequency will be.
Take care of yourselves

FYI, I'm doing a zhuzh pass on old pages of the comic to make them sexier (same art, glazed against AI, better typography, and remastered covers/thumbnails), apologies if you get spammed about updates XD My summer project is cleaning up existing chapters to prepare for a print edition >:)
