Hey buddies, recently life has been kicking my ass, I'm going to be taking a hiatus for the next while. I can't say exactly when I'll be back just yet, as always I hope not long but I kind of just need to rest for a bit. There is one more early access episode going up next week and you can read the next one after that on my Patreon and then I'm just gonna have to see how it shakes out. I've been thinking on this for a little while and I'm really sad to say, I can't afford to create Alien Heart anymore.
To be able to make a comic is a privilege that not many people have. Making an original comic even more so. I've come to a point where its become clear to me that this isn't something I can sustain any longer.
This breaks my heart, if I'm totally honest with you. I love making this bloody comic, but I'm in a financial situation where I don't have much a future ahead of me if I don't make some sacrifices, and making sure I keep all of my spare time aside so I can work on more commercial art such as fanart or commissions is one of those sacrifices.
It doesn't mean that AH is gone forever. I hope that some day soon I will be able to return to it, perhaps I'll be able to find the time to do a page here and there, but I can't commit to any sort of schedule until I manage to turn things around.
Thanks for all of your support, I was delighted to be able to at least get a nice, important update out for Pride month. I hope that Ivy and Smudge can return too when I'm not so much of a waste of space.

You're not a waste of space lady. Life might sucks balls right now but things will come around. Don't give up and take care of yourself. If we have to wait 15 years for Alien Heart, then 15 years we shall wait. Love ya, kisses.

I'm really sorry to hear that things are so difficult right now. Doing what you need to do to survive is perfectly understandable. You're not a waste of space -- at all. Even if that's really hard to see right now. I sincerely hope that things will improve in the future. Thank you for sharing what you have of AH with us, I love the comic and will certainly be here for any future updates. (P.S. Do you have any social media posts about the commissions and fan art you're focusing on that people can share/reblog?)
Whilst it makes me very sad to hear the comic is stopping for now, i sincerely hope you are able to find stability in your life and happiness. Please know that kickstarting and printing an ENTIRE BOOK is amazing!!! Your story so far has made plenty of people smile and for that, you are not a waste of space. i know how easy it is to feel like that (esp with social media... yikes) but I do hope you can find some space for yourself to be happy no matter what you are facing <3
