Description
Darcy “Prisca” Priscus is an undercover agent who got himself tangled up with an infamous gang of manmade vampires. In an act of revenge, the big boss of that very gang turned him into a blood-sucker, too. In order to change himself back into a human, he needs to find the sole creator of the manmade vampires: a blood witch by the name of Roman Harriet. There’s only one problem with that. Mr. Harriet has turned away from his witching days and now lives as a regular member of a little countryside church, and has vowed to never touch witchcraft or any dark magic again. Now Prisca struggles with a dilemma: does he stay a vampire until the day he dies and try to find contentment in his new life of drinking human blood, or does he convince a man to abandon his faith and revert back to his old, dark ways so Prisca can reclaim his lost humanity? But regaining his humanity isn’t the only issue he faces as more vampires revolt and strange circumstances entangle him as he falls deeper down the dark hole of thorns he willingly jumped into.
