"Mommy please don't go!"
"Stupid brat! You are staying here with your father."
"I want to go with you, mommy!"
"I will not have this disgusting boy anywhere near me... take him away before I hit him."
As the little boy is pulled away from his mom he starts screaming, "please don't leave me mommy, I don't like it here!"
Alarm *beep* *beep* *beep*
"Ah fuck... why are my nightmares coming back?" Easton mumbles to himself as he rubs his eyes. After waking up a little bit, he takes in the morning sun and decides to sit up. As he looks around his room, his plain room, he remembers a quote. "If there is no evidence of the past, then it will be forgotten." This quote has always helped calm him down after bad dreams. It was his moms favorite quote. At least before she left. Easton reaches for his phone to check the time as he tries to shake away the bad memories.
"It's already 8 o'clock!" "I'm going to be late to school if I don't hurry." I throw on a plain pair of sweats and head downstairs. I look around the corner to see if my dad is in the kitchen, when all of a sudden I hear his car zoom past our house.
"Thank god I don't have to deal with him this morning." I walk into the kitchen and grab an apple as I walk out the back door. My lovely car, with a big dent on its side, is sitting in the driveway. I hop into my car and start to eat my apple.
"Of course I hit every red light!" Easton says angrily to himself as he waits at the stop light eating his apple. "Hurry turn green!" "I'm going to be late for school!"
Twenty minutes later, Easton pulls up to the school parking lot as the school bell rings.
"At least I got five minutes until the late bell." I mumble to myself as I turn around to grab my bag. To only find its not there. "Damnit, I must of left my bag at home." "Maybe I should just check to see if I can at least find a piece of paper in this car?"
Easton decides to hurry inside instead of searching for paper when he looks at his phone. "Two more minutes until the bell rings." "Hopefully someone will let me borrow their supplies." He says as he closes his car door.
This is just a great way to start my morning! I say as I hurry inside the school as the late bell rings. Now I have to go get a late slip. "My dad is going to be so mad..."
Easton is interrupted by a mysterious voice. "What's he going to get mad about?" As Easton turns around he realizes the mysterious voice must be coming from the unfamiliar guy behind him.
A new student? Why is there a new student so late in the year... "Um, he'll just get mad that I'm late." Easton says while trying to comprehend the idea of a new student.
"Hm..." The new guys say as he starts to walk again.
"Wait! hold up what is your name?" Easton askes as he follows the new student down the hall.
Did I just ask for his name? I wonder why I just did that? I have never shown interest in anyone in this school. So why now?
"My name is Julian, Julian Roberts."
