This was spawned from text-free exchange of hastily drawn storyboard panels with a friend and evolved into a silly Christmas poem parody to recount the epic of Santa vs the Martians. Wanted it to be written in kind of a comically over wrought style with loose panel construction, so drawings are minimally edited. The narrative style loosely follows Clement Clarke Moore's poem "A Visit from St. Nicholas" (The Night Before Christmas) and the features a cast of characters, including the Martians from H.G. Wells' "War of the Worlds" (from which you'll recognize some of the phrasing if you've read it). The title is an allusion to the liturgical season, but also to the arrival of the Martian invaders.
