At the center of Humanity's Salvation, Ian exists as nothing but an undesirable guide who resists summons and argues without any strength. All bark and no bite.
But his desire? Revenge. His sister died several years ago, and he suspects it's no accident.
Thus, as his gaze reflects the smiling Esper who heralds destruction—the epitome of power, chaos, and radiant glory—Ian strikes a deal.
"Give me your power," he demands. "I want them all to pay."
The man only smiles. A cold curve that doesn't reach his hollow gaze. "Then please, Guide, prove that you're worth my time."
Ian can do so much worse.
