The Arcane Wanderer

In a world where humans are near-extinct, the sudden appearance of a lone human toddler causes quite the stir in the trade town of River Fale. The town's herablist, a vixen named Rune, discovers the child left alone, with few hints as to her origins.

She takes in the child, underestimating just how much of a handful taking care of a child can be.

After an incident, it becomes clear to Rune and the rest of the town that there is something more to this girl than meets the eye.

Just where did this child really come from? And what is her connection to the leftover artifacts of the old world?
