The primitive and barren planet, Beta Star is home to an alien race known as the Anamex. The Anamex wield a very unique ability, that allows them to undergo complete beast-like transformations in order to protect themselves.Young Haru Ukimono represents the third generation of the race, just as his father represented the second. He and the other Anamex of Generation III find refuge in the city of Ryoku, where they learn to harness their abilities as weapons of peace against the constant dangers of the dark planet.
