Brass tacks, it's a story about science gone wrong. On a moon belonging to a fictional world called Athena, the scientists of the planet came across a substance called AquaCell, a liquid component capable of jumping their technology thousands of years ahead of their time. The discovery was made in 1961.

The year the story takes place in is in 2009, fresh off the bloodiest war their planet has ever fought with itself. During the war, scientists discovered something else. And they believed it to have the same potential as AquaCell.

They believed wrong.

The story takes place through the eyes of the soldiers present during the events that transpire since the second discovery. There is no set protagonist, though some characters may take precedence over others.

It's a story more than 10 years worth of effort has been poured into. But it's never been written with finality. With any luck, that might change soon.
