Dragons have always been beast of legends. Now bound and chained, these creatures are forced into slavery. With war on the horizons and both parties at each other's throat, the world is in utter chaos. As dragons hide amongst the humans, they wait for the royal bloodline to be awaken to once again rise up and take back their lineage as the powerful beasts they once were.

Cyan Blue is a reluctant soldier of the King's Army, hoping to bide his time and pay his dues to escape his mundane and poverty-stricken life. Forced to pick out a Dragon and serve on the front lines of the Crescent War as a doctor, his fascination and fears get the best of him as he travels to the infamous Kennels to pick out one of the infamous 'beasts of no nation'. Scarred by his mother’s death and reluctant to invite any of these creatures into his home much less trust, a chance encounter changes everything.

Cyan stumbles upon a magnificent beast deemed too powerful and wild for society, he knows he must have that dragon- too bad it is scheduled to be killed by high noon.

Aiden Draekos has always been a dragon of the Kennels. Born a prince and now bound to the service of humans, he rather die than be someone's slave. As madness begins to corrode his mind, he fears if he doesn't escape soon, he will become a mindless beast stripped of his life and sold as a belt at the human auction.

Dragons know that all humans are the same: cruel and devious, so why does this human seem different? Can man and beast really be anything more than enemies? And if so..., can they be more than friends?
