Dear future me. If you are reading this, pay attention.

In your time, I, and all those that fought alongside me will be lauded as the heroes of humanity by some. Unrelenting Rebels by others. Because by our actions, we gave you the greatest gift anyone ever could; the hope that one day, we would win against our true enemy. But not everyone wanted humanity to have this hope.

As well know by now, hope does not keep our children safe or put food on the table. And that is where you come in, future me. We only gave them hope but You need to do what we couldn't and win against the Dark once and for all.

For you to do that, you need to know how we succeeded the first time, you need to know the story of what happened before we were heroes.
