All hybryds have the same coloring: black hair on their scalp and tail tip, blue eyes, and grey skin. With hybryds, the skin tone serves as a visual reference to an individual's strength, be it muscle or magic, and the darker the grey, the stronger the individual. The Makers devised this color system to tell at first glance which individuals were best suited for war.
