Rowan is blind. After getting into a car accident a few years back when Nate was still a child and after the accident Rowan was never the same. Since visual memory needs sight to be retained. Because of this, Rowan doesn't remember what anyone or anything looks like.
Nate, being the kind hearted guy he is, helps Rowan through his life while in high school, collage and even university where he studies management. However, his kind hearted nature goes further with Rowan after falling deeply in love with Rowan, only to have Rowan no notice his feeling.
