A group of six rebels uncover a plot to control, enslave, or kill off fairies that hides beneath the clean over world of Esperra. Spanning five continents, the organization Searching for the Ethereal has an overwhelming shadow on the world. Ash, Evette, Sabbi, Betty, Tobias, and Ruby must traverse these continents in order to find this toxic regime and end it at the source. But not one of them is hero material, so how will they rally this cause?
