Chaos n Kisses

Prologue

Faye didn’t cry when she walked out of Liam’s apartment for the last time. She didn’t slam the door or scream or even look back. She just left quietly, like the slow closing of a book you thought you’d never finish. The kind of ending that doesn’t feel like an explosion, but more like air slipping out of a balloon: silent, weightless, inevitable.

Their love had become a routine of apologies and silence, kisses that tasted like old wine, and mornings spent pretending everything was fine. When it ended, it wasn’t tragic—it was tired.

So, on a Friday night, three weeks later, she found herself at a bar she never would’ve gone to with Liam. The kind with warm lighting, half-price drinks, and music that made your chest vibrate. It smelled like citrus and cologne, like possibility.

That’s when she met them.

Malex had that effortlessly magnetic presence—tousled hair, rings on every other finger, and a laugh that made you forget your own name. Enzo was quieter, moodier, with sharp eyes and a voice like velvet dipped in secrets. They walked in together, fingers brushing, sharing glances that said more than words ever could.

And yet, they noticed her.

A stolen glance became a shared smile. A shared smile became a conversation. And just like that, Faye found herself somewhere she hadn’t expected to be: standing between two men already in love—with each other—and yet, somehow, pulling her into their orbit.

They were both bisexual. Both bold. Both dangerously intriguing. And suddenly, Faye wasn’t just healing from a breakup anymore. She was stepping into something strange and new, something uncharted—equal parts terrifying and thrilling.

It was never supposed to be anything. Just a drink. Just a night.

But nothing was simple after that. Not Malex. Not Enzo. And definitely not the way her heart started to split in two directions, unsure which way to beat.

The beginning of the end had been quiet.
This? This was the start of chaos.

Faye hadn’t planned on falling into a love triangle that night. She only wanted a drink strong enough to drown the echoes of her ex. The neon haze of the bar painted her heartbreak in softer colors, but nothing could dull the ache that still pulsed beneath her ribs. That is, until they appeared.

Malex, with a crooked smile and a voice like late-night jazz, leaned against the bar like he owned the moon. Enzo, all intensity and sharp edges, spoke with eyes that saw more than they should. Both of them drawn to her orbit like she was gravity itself — or maybe the storm at the center of it.

Faye wasn’t sure if it was the music, the whiskey, or the ache of wanting to feel something new, but as the night twisted around flirtation and electric glances, she found herself suspended between two possibilities. One wild, the other steady — neither simple.

By the time the bar lights flickered to closing, Faye wasn’t thinking about her ex anymore. She was thinking about Malex’s hand brushing hers, Enzo’s whisper against her ear, and the strange, thrilling confusion blooming in her chest.

For the first time in weeks, she didn’t know what came next — and maybe that was the scariest part. Or the most exciting.
