Poor Layla Llewellyn, her happy childhood is stripped away from her when her mother abandons the family for another man, then her father commits suicide. Layla is finally happy again with a family and friends, until she enters puberty and grows into a women. From there, complicated feelings coupled with childhood trauma cause Layla's mind to run away from her.
