Dandy has been living in the hospital for as long as they can remember. Sure, the doctors are long gone, taking with them any hope of connection with the outside world, but all the machinery still works so he can just go through the motions like they did. Some of the plants that have taken over the building bear fruit.
The exit on the first floor? Well, let's just say IV poles and rock climbing don't mix too well.
