The human survivors of the great cataclysm rebuilt cities, on large islands in the middle of the sea, and began their peaceful lives anew.
But the peace did not last long enough. People with unusual abilities began to be born. Researchers confirmed that the meteorites that had come into contact with some of the surviving people developed a gene that was transferred to the next generations, giving them great superhuman abilities, which is why they were called "gifted".
