Ahhhhhhhhh I am finally finished!! <3
When I first heard the prompt daydreaming I had an idea of what I wanted to do.
I imagined someone going through their day while their imagination goes wild.
There are a lot of directions I could have taken that, but I decided to keep the events more mundane.
She wakes up from an exciting dream and her daydream self is ready to continue the fight!
Fighting imaginary enemies, running, jumping, diving off of buildings- You know, normal things like that. :)
I added in the melody to help tie things together and a wish for my readers.
I hope your day is full of dreams.
Even if your life is different than what you wanted.
I hope you dream of being strong.
I hope you dream of the impossible.
I hope you choose to dance in the sun and in the rain.
Dream of better days.
Even when it's hard.
Towards the end you may notice her daydream self is absent.
Sometimes it's hard to keep dreaming when things are going wrong.
It's ok to rely on other people to help you find your dreams again. <3
I used to watch a soap opera with a character that had elaborate day dreams. She'd get a far away look, then they'd cut to the fantasy. Then she married a noble and moved to Europe.
This will be interesting. She'll start out at the mercy of her brain constructing the dream based on her thoughts and eventually be able to control the dreams. Oh, then an evil actor can try and Inception her. She'll wake up from the dream and realize it's just a dream and wake up just to realize it's just a dream. Small hints when it's the real world.
Just as long as she doesn't wake up in the last episode to reveal it was all a dream, "Dallas" style, unless there's a reason for it, like someone trying to get information by bringing up certain memories.
