The Marine Corp is the toughest branch of the US military, but that’s what makes them the best, and I want the chance to defend this country and fight along side the finest warriors in the world. I want to walk the path of a US Marine. I choose this path because, in the words Ronald Regan, I would like to make a difference in the world, and inspire others that hard work can pay off.

I understand full scale that this path is not an easy one, but life is never easy. I want to take on the challenges the USMC will throw at me and face it head on, to be trained by the very best to handle any situation, to feel like I earned my place by working to the best of my abilities, to become stronger both mentally and physically to face anything that comes my way, and to be pushed over the edge, only to raise back to my feet with a sense of pride, honor, and strength within myself.

I believe that only the Marine Corp can mold me into someone who can accomplish things I've thought I would never be capable of doing, and understanding that I am more than what I seem. I know they will help me reach my full potential, and tap into another part of me that is hidden deep, a person who can lead, who can stand her ground, and be proud of the choices she makes. I would like the opportunity to prove to our country that I can be one of the few, the proud, Marines.
