Blair Mori lives in a world that is nowhere near as bland as she herself wants to be. Tucked neatly in New York City with her attentive aunt, she's grown up plagued by chronic mood swings, lucid and recurring dreams, and hearing a voice deep in her thoughts.
All of this comes to a head when she and her best....only? friend Trey are attacked by a being of unknown origin. It is at this point, the voice in her head makes itself known, throwing her head first into a world of magic and monsters.
