hmmm I've read both verses and think it's those type of things where the whole chapter or the whole thing needs to be read in order to comprehend what is happening.
And both verses are actually good; King Solomon said that not because God is a dark Lord but because his glory was filling up the Temple and only the most Holy now could be allowed in
Basically meaning God needs to have his own private space just like anyone, hence him having a Temple build for him so he could be living on Earth in the presence of his people at the time. And a pure God only allows pure people to be in his pure sanctuary.
Whiles the Roman verse basically tells that yes sin exists because of the mistake of one man but because of the sacrifice of another salvation also is there to save those in sin.
These are just my point of view but they are very interesting verses indeed.
