Description
My name is Mia Beaumont and I have the power to make my imaginary friends come to life.
But this power comes with a price.
At five I imagine a purple and blue lynx I named Sphinx. Then comes a pink-haired man whose eyes change colors with his mood named Mr. Optim.
But at six, I learned not everyone from his land, Gladtopia, is a friend. A yellow-eyed, scaly-handed monster--the Scary Man--begins to prey on my every anxious moment.
After years of torment by this monster, I can't take it anymore. I find it harder and harder to call Sphinx and Mr. Optim to save me when the Scary Man appears.
So I close the door… and lose all memory of them.
My name is Mia Beaumont and I am now 17. It's been 5 years since I locked away my power and I'm about to run away from home.
In my time of need, Sphinx appears before me and helps me escape to Gladtopia.
But in doing so, I learn Mr. Optim needs my help against the Scary Man. Am I brave enough to face him this time...instead of running away?
