What becomes of the dreams you make,

When you become too afraid of the stakes?

I wonder at times if it falls asleep,

Or do dreams like to weep?

Do they cry and mourn,

When we forget them and leave'em forlorn?

At times I feel that maybe they drown,

And that's the reason why we wear our fears as crowns;

because we lost sight of the dreams that can no longer be found.

But dear dream,

What if I'm tired of being afraid?

I'm tired of living in my fear's cage.

Will you make a light,

To give me power to fight?

I will find you,

My sleeping dream caught in the night.

I no longer fear to take flight.
