Paranormal investigator Robbie is struggling to balance his research, day job and the rising popularity of his band, Moth-Man and The Lamps. So, when his bandmate, cousin, and best friend Flo suggests the band move into her newly inherited (definitely haunted) house of the pair's recently deceased grandmother, it's an offer Robbie can't afford to refuse.
But it soon becomes apparent the house might have something much more than a simple run-of-the-mill haunting going on - more than any of Robbie's PHD research to-date could hope to explain. And while moving in with his found-family to an abundance of research material may have solved some of his problems, Robbie's life is only about to get more complicated - particularly as he gets closer to the band's newest member, Zephyr.
Together, Robbie, Flo, Zephyr and Fern navigate the new reality they find themselves in, balancing paranormal activity with the true horrors of trying to reach success as an independent queer rock band.
