A heinous space pirate by the name of Ren, has stolen an important artifact called the Starlight, and the notorious, but reckless bounty hunter Tamiko has been hired to track him down. But when the two finally confront each other, a space battle ensues and Tamiko's ship, Inertia, crashes to earth. It's up to her and her new found human companion, Kazuki, to get back into space and find Ren before he unleashes the Starlight's ancient power.
