200 years from now, our world and its population have been brought to the brink of extinction by a series of cataclysmic wars. At the very heart of the conflicts was the use of a new and devastating weapon: a machine that has allowed man to travel back through time.
A power that man used with catastrophic consequences.
Much of the world is rendered uninhabitable and inhospitable due to radiation and poisonous pollution.
The great civilizations of the 21st century are lost. Destroyed by the wars that have raged, leaving only a number of independently ruled City States.
Emerging from the chaos is a band of men and women, called the Knight Guardians.
Their role, to safeguard mankind by preventing any of the remaining despots and world leaders from obtaining the power of temporal travel.
