Five hundred years have passed since the Final Conflict ended.
Back then, driven by fear of extinction, the Demons tore open a Gateway and chained the Earth to Gehenna.
War followed at once, and with it, a level of destruction no one had ever seen.
Cities vanished.
Skies burned.
Billions upon billions died without meaning.
Humans. Demons. It did not matter.
On the last day, when nothing was left to win, a song rose above the screams.
With its final note, the killing stopped, and the demons were bound to their own broken land.
Five hundred years of surviving in isolation, in desolation.
Believing they are strong enough to endure where everything tries to kill them.
Believing their victory still means something, that it will save their dying kind.

In the middle of the biting cold, a half-demon boy was sentenced to freeze alone in the middle of nothingness.
Little did he know that a human girl would appear as his savior.
So that he, in time, might save everything else.
