‘A homicide is a homicide’, or at least that’s the motto Francis lived by. Every case was the same: victim, suspect, evidence, conviction. It was black and white, just like a newspaper - no attachments, nor empathy, and most of all, no need for friends. Would you have expected a marble to invert your entire world? Yeah... me neither, kid. How does someone deal with the knowledge that no matter what they do, the outcome will always be the same?
