Officer Titus Westman gets a missing persons case dropped on his desk. The only problem? The teen is a Lyco - a race of alter-humans who have more than a passing similarity to The Wolfman of old Hollywood films. And Lycos are looked down upon by humanity as a racial minority. Which forces them, and their vampiric Nostu counterparts, to be insular and mistrustful of humans - like Titus.

Following the trail to California, Titus finds himself dropped square into the midst of alter-human subculture. His only guide on the way is a Lyco named Beau Black, who may be a hell of a lot more than he seems. Together, Titus and Beau try to uncover the truth behind the teen’s disappearance. Before this missing teen case becomes a murder investigation.
