Description
Sixteen year old Ryan Donovan is dissatisfied with his lot in life, living on Basic Income, in Government provided housing, his mother working all hours just to pay for his elective schooling, and a class divide that seems too wide to cross. He'd all but given up hope when a mysterious package arrives on his doorstep from the infamous Sifting Corporation. Inside is one of the most advanced pieces of technology ever developed, the PerSpectives3, AR glasses.
At first he sees them as just a means to gamify life, while earning some of the system's Contribution Points on the side (convertible to real money!), but something about the PerSpectives seems off. Perhaps they're a little too intuitive. And some of the tasks they give him lead him down a road he had never expected. Into a world of Wake Induced Lucid Dreaming and Astral Projection. A world of government secrets. And a world of Nightmare entities that can tear holes in reality itself.
With the help of his friends Ryan finds the strength to face these challenges, but will his naive dive into the Astral Realm lead straight to the end of reality?
