Theo, a 12th grader wants to sing in a competition hosted by her school. She is so excited! Until her parents and brother can't make it. In her attempts at trying to get her parent's attention, she learns a devastating secret.
Carlet is always in trouble with her family. She hangs out with the 'wrong' group and believes she can make a career out of her music. She feels outshined by her sister, in college studying to be a medical professional.
Lex is a single father to his brother. Their dad is never around and their mom is long gone. Lex found comfort in his friends and slowly opens up about his past.
Deral feels replaced by the newest addition to his family, so he set out to search for love in other people. His land is the sanctuary of the group, always finding new places to watch the stars.
