Ever wondered what happens behind the scenes of an epic fantasy story? What might the side characters get up to while the heroes are gallavanting about, slaying monsters and falling into traps? NPChronicles follows the Non-Player Characters (NPCs) of these grand fantasy worlds, detailing some of their own exciting adventures and humorous mishaps. Hidden backstories of patient questgivers or helpful side characters. No one story will be the same!
Each story includes an illustration of the titular character and a piece of reference music I listened to while writing it. Feel free to listen to that track while reading the character's story, for extra immersion!
All the characters from the NPChronicles series originate from the fantasy world of my novel, The Darkness Within, which was originally designed as a Dungeons and Dragons homebrew campaign.
