Temporarily blinded by the sudden exposure to a bright light that hangs overhead, the subject attempted to move a hand over its eyes in order to shield them. However, the action is far from possible. A woman approaches from its left. Her middle-aged face hovers over its own from a reasonable and respectable distance. She chuckles as its eyes come into focus on her.
“Well if it isn’t Test Subject #011100.”
Test Subject #011100, or Isaac Tobias Darnell when amongst the rest of society, is a product of the rather controversial Project Aqua an unethical experiment conducted by the US government in the year 2000 in response to the sinking of the USS Red Revenge. After civil rights activists end up getting really rowdy when they find out that their government is using orphans as tools of war by experimenting on them. Eventually the government is forced to shut down its operation and Isaac is temporarily free as he dumped back on the streets he once called home.
