"What ya starring at" My best friend, Dylan joked. It was clear as day that I was staring at Jason Macoy. I've been in love with Jason since the day of auditions. the people judging our auditions paired us together and I was instantly attracted to him. Maybe it was his caramel skin, light brown eyes, nice dark curly brown hair, perfect jawline, and tall frame, or maybe it was the smile he kept even when he was exhausted that made me fall for him, but Jason had his eyes on someone else.
Jason, some others, and I are on the show 'Live to Dance' where we dance on tv for thirty minutes, and he's my partner, but he's in love with Annaliese a background dancer for an up and coming singer, but recently the singer has been in some drama that's cost him and his crew to lose money meaning budget cuts. After everything they had to fire Annaliese, so she had an interview saying she would be coming to join us. He never met her but he fell in love with the way she danced in his videos.
"Dylan, he told me he wants to be partners with her and not me anymore" I sighed as I turned to face her she just looked at me as if I was crazy.
"Natalie, you're twenty-two, you're beautiful, and you have a nice body, Jason is stupid for not choosing you, but there are other boys who would love to have your attention" She reassured me before I turned back to look at Jason.
"Maybe, but none of them are him" we were currently at a cafe right across the street from the park Jason likes to hang out at with his friends if that sounds creepy, that's because it is. I've made a schedule to follow Jason's schedule, I don't follow him everywhere to make it seem like it's not on purpose.
"How about on our drive to rehearsal, I turn on Bryson Teller to make you feel better" She suggested. I turned to her, smiled with a sad smile, and nodded. Dylan has been my best friend since the first day of the show. Everyone else was giving me the cold shoulder because I was made the spotlight dancer, meaning I'm in every dance and if anyone wants to do a duet it must be with me. So everyone was upset and isolated me on the first day but Dylan introduced herself to me and basically forced her friendship onto me, and I'm thankful for her.
When we got to rehearsal, everyone was standing outside in front of a car. Dylan got out the car to see what was going on and as soon as she figured out she gave me the strangest look I've ever seen. Then she mouthed out.
